My name is Kurtis Walter, and Luminary Landscapes is the product of my lifelong love for technology, creativity, and making spaces feel special. After graduating from Penn State and spending a decade in the automotive industry, I found myself wanting to build something that blended technical skill with artistic impact. Lighting became that perfect blend.

Today, I help homeowners across the Pittsburgh region create memorable holiday displays, inviting outdoor spaces, and smart home systems that simplify their lives. My journey as a cancer survivor taught me to appreciate every moment and put my heart into everything I do. That philosophy drives the care, honesty, and attention to detail I bring to each project.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new places, trying new outdoor activities, and spending plenty of time with my fiancée, along with our dogs, Biscuit and Samoa. I am grateful for every opportunity to brighten a home and build lasting relationships with the clients who trust me.
